All schools in Sunderland are now required to submit Service Level Agreements in place of termly music surveys, and one yearly data submission in the summer term. These documents should be worked up in communication with the Hub Lead Manager.
The aim of this documentation is to ensure Sunderland is able to evidence the quality of delivery, and outcomes against the National Plan for Music Education.
Expectations of the partnership between schools, music tutors and the Hub lead organisation are laid out in these agreements, to evidence delivery of the NPME in Sunderland.
The deadline for School Yearly Data Forms is 1st July 2016. We are working on an online version of this to enable a simpler process for uploading the information. However the attached document can be worked on as a template to produce the information in the meantime.
Service Level Agreements should be submitted as soon as possible for Autumn and Spring term allocations. The final deadline is 7th Jan 2017. We cannot guarantee availability of funding for schools beyond this date. Heads of Music/Music Coordinators will need to liaise with the Hub Lead Manager to confirm School Music Action Plans as part of this process. More information will be shared at Music Education Hub network briefings and individual Hub Lead and School meetings.
